The weekend, briefly

Thank you for all your sweet words about Circe last week! It's a relief to hear how many of you have dealt with the same issue. She's scheduled for a biopsy soon and we have our fingers crossed.

It was a chore filled weekend. Cleaning, with my favorite assistant.

roomba!
{roomba!}

Washing dishes and farmer's market strawberries.

And a quiet, still moment, sipping tea in a clean kitchen.

  6. Vacuuming is my most hated word to spell and job to do. As a child (and, um, now), I was always scared that whatever was going to eat me would do it when I was vacuuming, for I would be deaf to its advances. Roomba would SAVE EVERYONE! For vacuuming up dust bunnies, monsters.

  12. Yes, Roomba is amazing! I will actually catch myself sitting on the couch and watching him as he works. And I love the way he nudges around my feet if I'm standing at the kitchen counter working. Yep, I definitely think of him as a pet.
