Thank you for all your sweet words about Circe last week! It's a relief to hear how many of you have dealt with the same issue. She's scheduled for a biopsy soon and we have our fingers crossed.
It was a chore filled weekend. Cleaning, with my favorite assistant.
Washing dishes and farmer's market strawberries.
And a quiet, still moment, sipping tea in a clean kitchen.
love the quiet kitchen moment... i live for those.
ReplyDeleteA clean kitchen - sigh, such bliss.
ReplyDeletelove those strawberries, makes the cleaning slightly sweeter!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, fresh strawberries. Lovely weekend snaps, as always.
ReplyDeleteI had some fresh strawberries too... and also did a load of housework! Hope this sets you up for the week and it's a good one!
ReplyDeleteVacuuming is my most hated word to spell and job to do. As a child (and, um, now), I was always scared that whatever was going to eat me would do it when I was vacuuming, for I would be deaf to its advances. Roomba would SAVE EVERYONE! For vacuuming up dust bunnies, monsters.
ReplyDeletethe lighting in your house always looks lovely. so calm and untroubled.
ReplyDeleteI love a quiet kitchen. I have a very small one, and am often shooing my guy out of there.
ReplyDeleteso happy that strawberries are back at the farmers' market! well, they've been there for a while, but now they're actually red and good to eat!
ReplyDeleteoh there's nothing better than sitting back and enjoying a newly cleaned room, no?
ReplyDeletemy mom has a roomba, and there is nothing i love more when i am visiting her and she will dust along with the roomba and talk to it a little. he's a handy little helper and apparently a great listener!

Yes, Roomba is amazing! I will actually catch myself sitting on the couch and watching him as he works. And I love the way he nudges around my feet if I'm standing at the kitchen counter working. Yep, I definitely think of him as a pet.
ReplyDeleteI want to get a roomba! What kind do you have? Thanks! Jen
ReplyDeleteRoomba! That's what I need!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Roomba, but I'm about to google him, he seems awesome. I could use some help keeping our tiled floor dusted, its horrible!
ReplyDeletecan i have your kitchen window please? i love it so.
ReplyDeleteRoomba is so cute :) I have seen videos with cats riding them, LOL
