The china mums from last week still look perfectly fresh - if anyone is looking for a long lasting flower, these appear to be a good bet. I put two of them in my bathroom and they definitely distract from my scattered makeup and the clumps of hair on the counter. Or so I tell myself.
{china mums, week 2}
At least one more venue visit this weekend and I'll probably report on progress next week. This part is tough, kids.

i've heard that to test a wedding venue thoroughly, one must try some of all of that venue's appetizers, probably with a good beer. for science.
ReplyDeleteSuch cheery flowers! Must say that the venues you mentioned the other day are seriously lovely -- I imagine y'all will have a hard time with so much loveliness around you to choose from, good luck!
ReplyDeleteflowers in the bathroom are so... helpful.
ReplyDeleteThis part is tough... I was most stressed about chosing our venue (and ended up with a space that we love -a converted distillery in the heart of Toronto).
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that you will find something amazing!
PS. Any mums (buttons, china, regular) last forever! Love that.
enjoy looking at venues... make those vendors spoil you!! and don't stress, you'll find the perfect spot :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful flower!
ReplyDeletekisses have a nice weekend
Finding the right spot is always the trickiest part--I think--because it inevitably pushes the "feel" of the wedding one way or the other! Good luck! And have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I felt MUCH better after we secured a venue!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
We did pick a venue that served food, had rentals included, and had a ceremony spot too - it was really, really helpful for the rest of the planning process to have those already taken care of :)
try and have a relaxing weekend, you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteI love long-lasting flowers, especially when they're as cheery as your bright yellow mums.
ReplyDeleteHope the venue search goes well! I know it can be discouraging (and expensive...), but hang in there. xoxo
Love love love bright colored flowers! (especially if they're long lasting!)
