The weekend, briefly

Bouts of torrential rain this weekend. Perfect for napping. I took three naps on Saturday alone, which basically means I woke up a couple times during the day and managed to stay awake for an hour or so. I was a bit more productive on Sunday.

  2. Your Saturday was quite similar to my Sunday... :) Also, those strawberries look tremendous. I can't wait for strawberry season here (late April, boo).

  8. i spent most of saturday and sunday napping and watching netflix in bed...but that's because me and my boyfriend were both sick. kinda sucked but in a way it was kinda nice to have an excuse to do nothing but rest and cuddle. sometimes napping does us good!

  14. Naps are extremely luxurious and not to be apologized for, you know. Also, I'm now on a mission to have a windowsill full of herbs in heartbreaking brown wooden boxes. Thank you for setting my priorities straight this cloudy Monday.

  16. Ahhh, multiple naps — you're clearly a girl after my own heart. I'm so intrigued by the Japanese Kit Kat. Is it very different from American Kit Kat?

  17. Tea Party Crasher - Japanese Kit Kats can be REALLY different from ours. They have tons of flavors and they come out with limited time flavors on a regular basis. I love the bean curd flavor, sadly disappointed by the royal milk tea flavor that I thought I'd adore. We pick up a random selection every time we go to the Japanese market.

  18. I'm so glad I came across this blog, its just amazingly lovely, great pictures, what i difference it is that something like Kit-Kats can be so different on opposite sides of the world.
    Take care!

  19. what could possibly be more covetable than your box of rosemary? please tell me that you listened to chopin while sewing, while it rained, while your box of rosemary just sat there on the windowsill.

also wondering if you have any marvelous ideas for EATS for a very deserty, informal sundown cocktail party we're having before the show on saturday...wanted to pick your busy, brilliant brain and see if you might have a favorite go-to finger food...?

    xo.
