The weekend, briefly

Sort of dragging myself into the week here. Busy weekend with tons of driving, laundry, cleaning and weather that was all over the place - rainy, hot, sunny, cloudy, cold. I think we went through every single season in two days.

*We're lucky enough to have a velodrome close by, so we try to make it out whenever there is a track cycling competition. Also, I think that photo was taken by D - we were trading the camera back and forth, but his pictures came out better than mine.

  6. Love Urth cafe. And that's the 22 right? We live right off the 22 and 405 in the Seal Beach area. You were so close!

  9. @ everyone - the globe is amazing, but it isn't mine! Emily picked it up for her collection. My purchase isn't even in this picture (but I'll share it later).

@ four flights - very close! We're in LA and our families are in Orange County, so we spend a lot of time on the 405 and the 22.

  12. What kind of camera do you use?

  13. @ anon - I use a Nikon D40 with the standard kit lens (18 - 55 mm) almost all the time. I do have one other lens, which is a prime 50 mm and I usually only use that for shooting food when the light is low.
