Happy Friday, lovebugs!
I hope you all have wonderful plans for the weekend. I intend to sleep late, eat quite a bit, and maybe even get some stuff done. We'll see. I'd also like to buy some flowers that last for more than 3 days. Ahem, farmer's market dahlias from last weekend, I'm talking to you.
What a delightful list :) I think I need to buy some flowers myself. Is it too early in the year to think about repotting house plants?
ReplyDeleteperfect weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Snuggle tight!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! If you figure out how to make dahlias last, I definitely want to know.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have tagged you for something, but only if it sounds fun. Happy weekend...
Your post today says it all and very cheerful. I like it!! Bright colors are always good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteRachel- you too have a golden weekend and enjoy!
xoxo
Dahlias are incredible, non! There is a local man who tends to them, each blossom has their very own umbrella so the dahlia does not fade. Perhaps these had a bit too much sun, which can of course attribute to them not lasting long. I love speaking and learning to this man who is obsessed with dahlias.
ReplyDeletethis post got me all bubbly inside about the approaching weekend. i've had hit or miss flower experiences at the farmers market, but don't you feel so much better about walking away with them all wrapped up in newspaper? it's so rewarding!
ReplyDeleteI intend to sleep SO LATE too! I love it. One of my guilty pleasures - sleeping in just feels too good.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are gorgeous. Your weekend sounds delightful... enjoy it! I'm hoping to sleep a little late myself tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect weekend. I'll be attending a baby shower for a sorority sister, hopefully eating some good food and enjoying a calm weekend catching up with friends. Hope yours is wonderful Rachel!
ReplyDeletemmm... your weekend sounds just right!
ReplyDeletelove your dahlias, but sad that they weren't long-lasting. when you find the perfect persevering genus you should let me know!
It sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned. I love trips to the farmer's market...there is much joy in coming home with fresh flowers and produce.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed a marvelous weekend! Your photo of the dalias are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteCut orchids tend to live the longest out of all the farmer market's varieties...I find I can get two or more weeks out of them :)
