{lunch}
The most amazing milkshakes I've ever had (at the LA street food festival). The toasted marshmallow shake had just the right note of actual campfire and the texture was perfect (I do not like milkshakes that are like sucking a soft serve ice cream through a straw - you need some milk, and some texture).

A sweet baby shower.

Some quality time with my herbs, which are loving their new balcony (more sun).

I'm with you on the milkshakes. And food trucks might be the number one reason I want to move to California.
ReplyDeleteoh...i want that food truck at a party! wouldn't that just be the best?
ReplyDeleteneed a milkshake. pronto.
ReplyDeleteI really, really want a toassted marshmallow shake. That sounds amazing.
ReplyDeletei hear you on shakes as well; we tried spike from top chef's almond joy milkshake recipe a few weeks ago and have probably gained several pounds since.
ReplyDelete@ lauren - whoa! i was not in love with spike (the constant hats irked me, as did the general ass-yness), but that milkshake might make me look at him differently.
ReplyDeletei'm glad you didn't actually show a picture of that amazing shake, since i would have tried to whip one up with my breakfast. so, so good.
ReplyDeleteokay I love, love, love your photography. so beautiful! what kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots :) I love these snippets of your world!
ReplyDeleteMmm that milkshake sounds SO good.
ReplyDelete@ Becca - Thank you! I use a Nikon D40 and I love it. I use a pretty standard lens (15 - 55 mm zoom) and just play around with it a lot. I also have a fixed 55 mm lens that is nice for darker settings, but I don't use it all that often.
ReplyDeletemarvelous! i am definitely checking out king kone... for business research purposes, of course! i'm a milkshake fiend and can't wait to try one of theirs!! xo
ReplyDeletetoasted marshmallow milkshake, maybe I am going to have to try and make one; it does sound delicious. Minus a bonfire, I have gas stove and that is going to have to do. :)
ReplyDeleteYour herbs look fantastic. Looks like a perfect weekend!
ReplyDeleteToasted marshmallow. In a milkshake? Wow! I'm normally somebody who needs my milk well disguised (in baking, or, better, in cheese or ice cream), but this sounds like it would be very well worth trying!
