Weekend bits

Strong tea with milk + a good book + what used to be a cinnamon roll.

Playing around with a new project.

Experimenting with knits for the first time (not as scary as I thought it would be).

I always feel like weeks should really be 8 days long, and then if I worked for 4 days and stayed home for 4 days, I would get so much more more done. Someone get on this, please.

  14. You are preaching to the converted, I have been trying to rally behind the word day work week for awhile now. I was feeling super sad this morning, like where did my weekend go?!?!?

Also, very jealous of you perfectly color coded embroidery threads.

  15. I've been trying to find a decent (ie bill-paying) part-time job for about the last 4 years, so I can do just that. Not managed to pull it off yet though.

  18. Your 8 day week is brilliant! I always thought an 8 day week would make life much more manageable. I thought we would still work 5 days and then get three days off but I like your idea much better!

  20. Even four on three off would be lovely. LOVELY. I can't even begin to not think about work until I've been gone three days.
