Busy, busy weekend here. Sometimes the number of pictures I manage to snap seems to be inversely related to how much activity is going on. I still don't have a computer, and I'm seriously considering going to the store and just buying the first laptop I see because I don't feel like doing any research.
Follow up posts to come on everything except the drinks. Because what is there to say about the lemonade and beer, really?
you've posted a ton of different cakes on your blog, but none of been as pretty (and yummy looking) as this one.
ReplyDeleteThat blue ribbon is absolutely stunning! I love cobalt blue :)
ReplyDeletego with Apple's Macbook Pro! They're amazing!
ReplyDeletelove the cake, it's so pretty!
ReplyDeletei'm in favor of the first-laptop-comes-home-with-me approach. i mean, it always works with kittens.
ReplyDeleteThat pic of the birthday cake is wonderful! I, too, bought my laptop at the first place I looked. If it's within my budget and will do what I want it to, I'm sold. You can always add external memory and all that jazz ;)
ReplyDeleteDelicious things.
ReplyDeleteI have a MacBook Pro, highly recommended since you seem to be in the market
I love that cake stand! (But I also have a cake stand addiction.)
ReplyDeleteBeautifyk cake!
ReplyDeletewow, the cake is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteGreat weekend. GREAT CAKE! Might there be any left-overs???
ReplyDeleteLove that cakestand with flowers! Such a pretty arrangement, looks delish. I know how you feel about finding a computer, mine died over the weekend and rather than deal with fixing it for the 3rd time I think its just time for a new one! Ditto on the Macbook - they'll take care of everything. So easy. :)
ReplyDeleteThat cake is NOT helping my addiction to sweets! Looks soooo yummy.
ReplyDeleteLove the cake. Love the pinks. Love the flower belt/headband. Looks like a fab weekend :)!

ReplyDeletei concur with the macbook opinions! you'll love it!
That cake looks beautiful. I hope the icing-making process went smoothly – it sure looks good! Oh, and the pink flowers and candles are perfection.

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures...
Lemonade and Beer--hurray! I hope you're able to find just what you need in the computer department! And SOON!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cake! Where do you get those candles? If you can't afford the MacBook Pro, go with the bigger Macbook, I loooove mine!
ReplyDeletePS please put up a tutorial for those headbands!
All of the photos are amazing - the lemonade and the cake pictures are making me very very hungry. I always look forward to your posts.
ReplyDeleteI, too, have to give an enthusiastic endorsement for Mac. I've had a Mac Book for three years and haven't had a single problem. You can also buy a refurbished laptop - they're much less $$ and you can buy the same warranty protection as a brand new computer.
On the flipside, my mother-in-law is having a terrible time with her Dell laptop; both the machine itself and their terrible customer service - stay away!
That cake is gorgeous! Sounds like a great weekend!
ReplyDeletered stripe beer, lemonade and chocolate cake, three things I love too :)
ReplyDeleteOh the pink candles are too pretty!
