I'm off to a slow start today! My beloved (and much abused computer) finally died on me yesterday, taking with it lots of stuff that I hadn't bothered to back up. I am dreading having to go shop for a new computer. Technical information overload + sticker shock = stress. Ugh.
Let's focus on nicer things, shall we?
Like steaming mugs of tea and books.
And pretty messes of scattered beads.
And stacks of paper.
That's better, isn't it?
Um, I realize that this makes it look like I did not leave my dining room table the entire weekend and I assure you this is not the case. I spent some time working on the living room floor as well. The carpet just isn't very photogenic.
Haha, love it -- if I took photos of my weekend, it would probably look like I was in bed all weekend! But I was productive, truly -- so hey, at least you've got a great tablecloth + lighting pictured here ;)
ReplyDeleteyay! I kept checking today for a post and it's here! Sorry to hear about the computer - very stressful. Wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteOn my mobile as my computer died this weekend too - it seems to be going around! Ours is in the shop, so I am waiting on word if we too will be entering fray of electronics purchasing. Not fun. Hope it works out on your end!
ReplyDeleteMy condolences go out to you, I loathe tech-related stress. Nothing makes me punchier.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a beader, but my siser always has been, and one of my favourite little things to do is sink my fingers into a tub of beads :)
My computer almost died on me the other day... luckily I think it was just a little bit of a loose connection to the hard drive. A quick pop of the lid and double check... seems to be working now! Good luck shopping!
ReplyDeleteOh no - I'm going to back up the minute I get home today! This is my worst nightmare (shopping for anything under duress is so stressful!)
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, your weekend looks quite lovely, as always!
lady, your computer died and you still managed to show us these lovely photos on schedule? you always amaze me.
ReplyDeleteMaking sure you see the little happinesses of life = a great attitude -- Good For You! Good luck with the technical details. And can't wait to see what you've done with the beads!
ReplyDeleteI must be a freak, because if my computer died (let's assume everything was saved) I'd be SO excited to shop for another.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about the computer. That stinks. Love the pics though.
ReplyDeletesending you good computer vibes!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the computer. That is NEVER a good thing....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the tablecloth you have in this blog. Any idea where you got the cloth or did you buy yardage and make it yourself?
