I bought this yogurt* because it was pretty.
Can you blame me? Luckily it was delicious, too.
*Saint Benoit yogurt, with honey, from Whole Foods, in a reusable, returnable ceramic container. I hope they don't hate me for keeping the container for a little while, just to look at it.
Not at all! I sometimes buy produce because it's pretty and I want to photograph it... but then I end up eating it so think that's okay!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh... i am obsessed with yogurt and will be buying this immediately!
ReplyDeletehave you tried the icelandic yogurt from whole foods? it is a lot like greek yogurt, but tastier and healthier!
I always end up keeping my milk bottles a bit longer than necessary. They're too pretty to send back right away :).
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I live in the Midwest, but my brother just moved out to the Bay Area, so I just e-mailed him and told him that he needs to buy one for me :)
ReplyDeleteJust because it is returnable doesn't mean you HAVE to, does it? I don't think they'd mind too much if you kept it and used it to put wildflowers in. That's reusing it, too, right? :-D
ReplyDeleteadorable :)
ReplyDeleteHow will you ever bring yourself to return this adorable container?
ReplyDeletethis has to be the cutest yogurt, i have seen! yum! i bought a bushel of cute cucumbers, the other day. : )
ReplyDeletehappy day!
So pretty and so yummy and so pricey! I am saving my container forever!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it. But then again, I've never been in a whole foods. We do have a fresh market though.
ReplyDeletei would have made the same exact purchase...you can't blame us though, they clearly know the power of packaging!
ReplyDeletei have stacks of these stashed in one of my kitchen cabinets... which i NEVER plan to return. I'm sure. why do they think people buy their yogurt, if not for the container?
ReplyDeletei mean it's good. but it's all about the little ceramic pot.
i dont think I coudl return that container really. too cute. I could see fresh flowers in it on a kitchen window sil. Yum.
ReplyDeleteguilty of occasionally succumbing to tasty-but-pricey spega yogurt for the same reason, so no judgment here!
ReplyDeleteHa ha.... I've totally considered buying that yogurt for the cute container too. : )
ReplyDeleteI love that container. And I love yogurt. I think I will be going to Whole Foods soon. Case closed. =D
ReplyDeleteoh my so gorgeous...do you have to give it back? it would make such a sweet vase.
ReplyDeleteBeware. Whole Foods is also selling chocolate milk in an adorable glass container. Chocolate + great container = a "no duh" purchase on my end.
ReplyDeleteSaint Benoit yogurt is delicious. I especially love the honey, but the meyer lemon is excellent too.
ReplyDeleteI buy one-two every week, at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market...and I saved 2 of the containers, but returned the rest.
i like this yogurt, and love the container
ReplyDeleteI buy it not only cause it's delicious, but because i love the little ceramic crocks! i use them to store pens, makeup brushes, you name it!
ReplyDeleteand your cake post above is just KILLING ME!!!
have i mentioned that i make your cornbread recipe at LEAST once a week?
