Weekend + no shopping update - week 11

I'm in the home stretch here and things seem to be going smoothly. I did a little bit of almost shopping last week (you know, the kind where you online shop and put things in your cart and then close the browser without checking out), but I managed to hold strong. Next week I'll have a little wrap up of the shopping hiatus and explain where I plan to go from here.

I can definitely say that one of the benefits of not shopping is the extra time it gives you. We had a lot going on this weekend, but I'm not sure any of it will be ready to share with you this week. Hopefully soon.

  10. I'm on a shopping hiatus as well and I find it so damn hard with the seasons changing! I keep thinking to myself how I need new clothes for spring, when really that's only 25% true. It's so hard!

  13. online shopping carts are great that way. Add a bunch of stuff, walk away from the computer. Doesn't work as well in Target.

As for myself this weekend was relaxing and filled with cooking. Oh yeah, with a random Chicago snow storm thrown in, too.

  17. Oooh, I'm looking forward to the project you have in store!

My weekend was quite productive. Lots of packing, donating, and organizing in preparation for the move. For a few months, I shall live vicariously through your home projects as I become a short-term nomad ;)

  23. Yes, we did have a productive weekend, wrapping up the ski season and getting back to having our weekends a bit looser. After no shopping, I have a wish list in the waiting. I get excited about it, just waiting. It feels like a little Christmas is coming.
