Friday flowers, recycled

Last week's lilacs lasted into this week, and I loved them even more as they started to disintegrate.

Each tiny flower is so perfect - I just let them shed all over the table and enjoyed the beautiful mess.

We have a long weekend coming up and I'm hoping to get some sewing done. How about you?

    beautiful thoughts - they are beautiful in all stages. this weekend is a music festival and cooking for my family. maybe some photography too.

    just beautiful! lilacs are my favorite. i can only imagine the intoxicating lilac scent that must have filled your house.
    this weekend i'll be hitting up a strawberry festival and doing some cross stitch.

    So cute! I always debate about whether to clip lilacs on bushes near the street. Is that stealing? I feel like it's a kind of gray area.

    Pretty! Do the flowers retain their color if dried? I'm wondering if they could be dried and used on handmade cards, etc....
