Happy, happy Monday + a great giveaway!

Let's start the week off right, shall we?

The lovely and talented Jess of Jess L.C. Jewelry is offering up the Falling Star necklace from her SocChic line and one of you lucky readers is going to win it.

Not only are the necklaces in Jess's SocChic line adorable, the profits also support various social causes. Amazing, isn't she?

To enter for a chance to win the Falling Star necklace, please leave a comment on this post and make sure you include your name and your email address (if it isn't already on your profile) and tell me who or what inspires you on a daily basis. I will randomly pick a winner on Friday and Jess will send you the necklace. You don't need to have a blog, and you don't need to be a regular commenter - I love seeing people come out of the woodwork.

Want even more chances to win some of Jess's necklaces? Check out these wonderful blogs today for chances to win the other necklaces in the line.

  33. My inspirations change every day. Today, it was a perfect stranger. I'm a salesgirl at a popular bath and body store. This afternoon, a tall, elderly gentleman moseyed on in. My co-worker greeted him with a typical "hi, how are you?". Most customers brush us off when we ask how they are, thinking that it's some sort of sales pitch (it's not... the official sales pitch begins with "what can I find for you today?" Now you know!). But this gentleman... he was AMAZING! He very sincerely said, "I'm GREAT thanks! How are YOU?" He wore a bright blue and yellow jacket and the biggest smile you've EVER seen. Even though he moved slowly and looked sort of frail, he positively radiated happiness. It soon became clear that he had come in to join his wife, and he seemed so blissed out just to be waiting on her while she debated the relative merits of mango vs. strawberry soap. He was a man with true love and joy in his life, and his mere presence at the shop brightened up my day. So today, he is my inspiration. I want to ooze that much joy when I'm in my 80s, too! 43. I met the most gracious woman on a plane about ten years ago. She treated everyone with such love and kindness. I think about her every morning and want to be the same way!

    ReplyDelete
  44. What inspires me on a daily basis? I'm going to be a little obscure and say...the sky. The only thing nicer than waking up to a brilliant, sunny day is waking up to a rainy, overcast day when you can stay in bed a little longer and read!

At night, seeing the stars from the comfort of my bed is a nice way to end the day, but living so close to the centre of Sydney, the sky is usually an amazing combination of pink and purple. City lights have their benefits!

  47. After looking at all of these necklaces and the causes they support, I thought I had picked a favorite until I came along this one. It just seems like helping kids is a cause most people don't think about as often as cancer or other diseases. And they need it so much, they need encouragement and dreams to be explored. The people who are in need of the support from these causes keep me going everyday, I realize that I have so much more to give and do, simply because I can.

  69. My boyfriend inspires me on a daily basis. He's been through so much in his 28 years, including the loss of his mother to brain cancer, and he still manages to be cheerful, loving, positive, and very generous. He works as a hair stylist and has the opportunity to talk to all different kinds of people every day. I get to meet some of them, and I can see that he makes an impact on their lives, just by listening to them and talking to them. I swear hair stylists should have a degree in psychology! Levi definitely inspires me to love others.
