The lovely Jac, of Coco Sunday, sent me a handmade zippered pouch and one of her fabulous photographs. I squealed a little bit.

And this gift will keep on giving, because it's a pay it forward type of thing. Five of you will receive little packages from me, on the condition that you in turn select five lucky people who will get something from you. It's low pressure - the gifts can be small, and you don't have to get them out immediately.

After all, sending pretty packages in the mail is almost as fun as receiving them.

What a lovely idea. Rarely do I receive mail or correspondence besides bills or solicitation. The idea of receiving and sending out a package of creative goodness just makes me smile.
I've done something similar before on swapbot. I would love to participate!
Is there anything better than receiving a package in the mail with your name on it? Brightens my day every time... I love the idea of getting a package and then paying if forward to five other people and making their day. I'd love to play!

i would sign up BUT i find having to go to the post office to mail packages in nyc to be a total b*tch. so everyone else pass on the joy for me.

Oooh, I love things like this! Surprising people with adorable packages is one my favorite things to do. I have a penpal in England and we always try to outdo each other on the cuteness of our parcels. I'm definitely interested!

As I told some friends the other day when we were talking about our love languages, "I like sending and receiving gifts." They are both very fun and heart-warming.
