It is gray and cold and drizzly today. I would be perfectly happy if I could stay home and read in bed. And I would be even happier if I were curling up under this blanket.
The bedding is wool flannel and the stripes are actually contrasting overlock stitching, so it's textured. Yum.
I feel the same way about staying in bed today. If I stayed in bed, I would read a book. A good book. A thick book.
ReplyDeleteooh i love this picture and feel the same exact way. this bed looks like it was plucked right out of one of kelly wearstler's rooms at the viceroy.
ReplyDeletei love the blanket but even moreso, i LOVE that headboard!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so stylish :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and inviting! Oh that sounds good to stay in bed all day without being sick. I like it!
ReplyDeleteGray is my favorite color and I adore this blanket. That headboard is really great too!
ReplyDeleteTerrific headboard!
ReplyDeletethat blanket looks so soft! it's only 8:30 in the evening and i'm already falling aleep, even more so after seeing this ;)
ReplyDeleteps, i'm updating my blog roll at the moment and would love to exchange links if you're interested? :)
xx
What a lovely blanket! I love the asymmetry of it, and how cozy it looks.
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteOh, i love that texture-very cool! Now if only it was easy to make them be straight everyday! Looks so cozy too.
ReplyDeleteIt is SOOOOO gorgeous! Grey? Check! Wool? Check! Architectural detailing? Double check!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing find...I wonder if it is as soft as it looks?
Gorgeous! I LOVE the color grey (is grey even a color?), and those pleats are just perfect. I wish I could curl up on that bed and read through the last issue of Domino. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it - so simple, yet stylish.
ReplyDeletejust found your blog and read for the first time.
ReplyDeletelove it.
so gorgeous
ReplyDeleteGrey and drizzly, indeed.
ReplyDeleteI should like some Radiohead and a newspaper to accompany me beneath that blanket.
Oh I almost forgot! I've not tried the Astara moisturizers but I HAVE tried their masks and they're awesome. And the scrub really can't be beat---it's a must have!
ReplyDeleteLately I'm liking clinique moisture surge for moisturizer. it has a light gel texture so it doesn't feel all greasy, but it really does leave your skin feeling quenched and incomparably soft!
That headboard is really cool and that bedding is prefect with it. Great find!
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative bedding idea! That is awesome! I bet someone could even use that idea and sew ribbons on pillows and duvets to get a similar look for not too much $$$. Too bad I don't have a sewing machine.
ReplyDelete-Jess!
it could not be any more perfect. i must close my eyes now;)
ReplyDeleteI love this on several levels. First, we're in need of a new duvet cover - the one that I bought is a NA queen, while the blanket I bought is a european queen (i.e., considerably smaller) - my bad. In any case, I've been laboring over how to get past the fact that fabric is usually too narrow to make a duvet out of without seams, but this method would hide the seams perfectly :) Thanks for posting it, otherwise, I might never have run across it!
