Cheery yellow mums this week.
I think my favorite part about buying flowers is carrying them home on the bus. It feels so chic. Although I also love arranging them when I get home. And looking at them the rest of the week.
So I guess I love everything about my weekly indulgence.
pretty! i know what you mean - i love carrying flowers around. arranging them is feels kinda therapeutic too. have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteBuying flowers is such a wonderful little pleasure. These ones are like little balls of sunshine, so cute. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeletevery pretty, i like the vase!
ReplyDeleteLove the mums. One of my favorites, ever since I was a little kid.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely weekly indulgence! And there is something so romantic about carrying flowers out in public, isn't there?
ReplyDeletethere is something to carrying them home, isn't there? that happy little splurge. I indulge too but this week the tea roses gave up way too soon.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely flowers-of course it helps that they happen to be my favorite color :) Hope you enjoy the holiday weekend Rachel!
ReplyDeleteok, so i came back to look at the shoes *again*, but love the flowers. girl on bus with flowers = hot.
ReplyDeletehappy holiday weekend.
there's nothing that makes my day quite like having a lil bouquet of flowers wrapped up in kraft paper. so simple and sweet!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend rachel!
They are so smiley! Happy 4th of July.
ReplyDeletei love buying flowers, especially yellow ones! they're so cheery and happy
ReplyDeleteOh, look! A different Helen right above me! I love when that happens.
ReplyDeleteI, too, feel incredibly chic and even a little mysterious when I buy flowers and have to walk somewhere with them in hand or, better yet, poking out of my satchel {love the word and concept of a satchel, too}. I'd like to think people see me and wonder if I'm bringing the flowers to a hunny, or getting them for myself, or falling in love with the world. I've an active imagination ...
Ha! Pretty flowers Rachel and I know what you menan about carrying them home - it's all part of the experience!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about liking carrying flowers on the bus! When I was in Paris, I wanted to buy flowers just to be able to carry them around...after all, that's what posh parisians do, isn't it? Then they stop for wine and cheese or a smoke...or a pastry.
ReplyDeleteHey! I have a quick question. What's the best way to get your flowers to last as long as possible?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, love the blog!
