Friday flowers

Ranunculus, $3 for a good sized bunch at the farmers' market.

They didn't quite fit in my milk glass vase, so I put some of the stubbier ones in a tea cup.

  3. Love! Do you have the ranunculus in florist foam or frog made from tape in the tea cup? They are behaving so well!

Have you ever been to the ranununculs fields in Sand Diego? They're amazing.

  13. @ Jules - I have a metal flower frog in the tea cup. I buy them from the Japanese market and I have a ton of them in different shapes and sizes. So handy for sparse arrangements. I haven't heard of the SD ranunuculus fields! I must google that immediately.

  26. Ranunculus flowers are usually sold and planted as rhizomes. Sometimes these are mistakenly referred to as bulbs :)
