The weekend, briefly

It was quiet here this weekend. The light was soft, the air was chilly.

We drank coffee. Plain black for D, pumpkin spice for me (Ariela's recipe is great, but I cut the sugar quite a bit because I don't like my coffee very sweet at all).

We visited the beach. The offseason is my favorite time.

I packed up orders. I never, ever get tired of putting together packages. It might be the best part of having the shop.

And I worked a bit, as the light failed.

  2. Looks like the perfect weekend to me. I love the way all of your packages look. I don't usually go for flavored coffee- but this time of year-I do make Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice in the afternoon. It's perfect!

  3. Yum. The pumkpkin spice coffee from Cost Plus? It is the best :) especially with some Pumpkin Pie Torani syrup added. (they even make it sugar free now!)

  6. I'm with you! I love wrapping up shop orders! Each and every time it brings me joy to imagine a customer's smile when they see their package all dolled up like a Christmas present.

    Love the headbands, btw.

  7. as much as i love going to the beach on a warm, sunny day, there's nothing quite as appealing as going during cooler months.

  11. Hi, guys! The pumpkin spice coffee is actually a fake pumpkin spice latte, based on Ariela's recipe (adding a link in the post above). I reduced the sugar (don't like my coffee sweet)and left out the Coffeemate and it was delicious.
