Weekend - condensed

My creation

Buying flowers, checking out new books, working on the quilt (and giving myself a massive iron burn), making a greek dinner (recipes to follow), sleeping in, waffles for breakfast (no recipe - I used TJ's multigrain baking mix), etc. etc.

I only wish the weekends would last a little longer.

  2. Waffles and the library make for the perfect weekend. I have the exact same waffle maker and it's the greatest. The little squares are he best.

  5. lovely photos there.
my daughter took a sip of her hot cocoa before I could say, "be careful, it's hot!" and all weekend she told me her tongue was peeling cause it got burned.
weekends were made for waffles and not for burns.
hope your iron burn is better, poor thing

  6. Your quilt is coming together! Encouraged by your last post, I picked up a quilt I've been lap quilting for awhile. But it's slow going...

  10. What a happy collage! It sounds like your weekend was delicious and relaxing :) I too wish weekends lasted longer -- why can't we be more European and indulge in 4 day workweeks? I bet we would be more productive.
